The proximity of the site next to the Huron River presented an environmental challenge. CES’s design of a retention/infiltration basin and soil erosion design protected the River from sediment as a result of construction.  

The Police Station property also needed to be able to plan for a future Fire Department headquarters. During the design phase, CES worked with Township committee—including both Fire and Police Chiefs—to prepare a conceptual design for the future fire station to meet the needs of Green Oak residents for decades.
