The project required directional drilling of a 20” water main for 0.5 mile under a private golf course. CES prepared bid documents and negotiated with the contractor to limit construction through the golf course to nighttime hours. Design and bidding techniques implemented by CES made this critical project successful with less than 5% in extras on a $2,000,000 project.

CES negotiated all water main easements, including an agreement with the Walnut Creek Country Club. CES completed all required permitting through the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner, Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, and the Road Commission for Oakland County, as well as bidding and construction administration.
