The project required acquiring easements from the Michigan Department of Corrections as well as a non-profit gun club, as well as meet MDOT/Federal Highway Administration requirements. CES successfully negotiated the necessary easements with MDOC and the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget on behalf of the Township. Taking a methodical approach to each challenge, the CES team secured a $600,000 grant and handled the grant application process benefitting the residents of Green Oak Township.

CES completed the topographic survey, engineering design, and easement acquisition. The project was designed to meet MDOT’s requirements and specifications.
